Parking & Access
Visitors are advised to park on the road as there is insufficient space ‘down the drive’. Please be mindful of neighbours’ driveways.
The Centre is not particularly wheelchair friendly but can be navigated. Please contact us if you have a query about access or require assistance.
By Bus
To get to the Centre via public transport….
Option 1 – to arrive outside the Centre (bus stop #4391) – grab Birkenhead Transport bus number 972. These buses run between Mon-Fri 6.30-9.30 in the morning and 3.30-6.30 in the afternoon.
Option 2 – to arrive 850 metres from the Centre – grab Birkenhead Transport bus number 973 or 974. Get off at corner of Birkdale & Eskdale Roads (bus stops 4055, 4170 or 54). Walk down Eskdale Road to the roundabout, turn left onto Lauderdale Road – walk 100m to the signposted centre.
Option 3 – Birkenhead Transport headquarters are based 2kms from the Centre at ‘Verrans Corner’. Catch buses 973, 974 or 972.The walk is a gentle downhill stroll to the centre. Walk down Birkdale Road, turn right onto Salisbury Road. Walk to roundabout – cross it onto Lauderdale Road – walk 100m to the signposted centre.
