Holly Stannard
Natural Heritage Co-ordinator
Holly Stannard began work at Kaipatiki Project in December 2007 as Natural Heritage Co-ordinator, taking over from Nicki Malone.
Holly is originally from Great Barrier Island, has been involved in many restoration projects in the Auckland region and last year completed her study of horticulture at Manukau Institute of Technology, specialising in native plants.
It is Holly’s plan in 2008 to get out into the community, get everyone involved in our projects by having fun and mucking in. She hopes to further encourage all the great work the North Shore residents have done to help our environment.
As you may or may not know, the work at Kaipatiki project is done mainly by volunteers, coordinated by Holly.
We are always in need of individuals to help us and we cater for group volunteer days, either in the nursery or out in the reserve.
If you have some free time, and would like to contribute to our beautiful local reserves or you have a question about your environment, then give Holly a call on (09) 482 1172 or email restoration@kaipatiki.org.nz.
