Waterbourne Festival encourages people to get active on the land, on the water, or both. They believe in sustainable environments and sustainable bodies. This fun run or walk is a chance to not just look after our country but to do something good for your own health. Being active can be hard but the fun run is a safe zone for people of all abilities to give back to their bodies. We want to help you to achieve new goals because nature and exercise just go hand and hand. Kaipātiki Project is proud to be part of this run and will receive $5 from every ticket thanks to Waterbourne Festival and Blue Carbon Project! Have fun!

Fun Run & Walk

For the first time, Waterbourne is bringing the Beach Fun Run into the festival! Now, you and your loved ones will be able to enjoy Auckland’s North Shore beaches for good causes without getting too wet.

The fun run will commence at Takapuna beach on Sunday the 7th of March and stretch to Narrow Neck before looping back around for a total of 8km. Or join in the 4km Takapuna beach fun run or the 1.5km accessibility fun run, either way, be fueled by knowing that with every step you take.

About Blue Carbon Project

Brianna Orams, an 18-year old who has an incredible amount of passion, energy, drive and a clear vision for a better tomorrow, is the driving force behind the Blue Carbon Project. In addition to being a youth 2020 world champion stand-up paddleboarder and a student, Brianna also teamed up with Kaipātiki Project to help restore nature through outdoor persuits.
